Myanmar Institute of Peace and security studies (MIPSS) is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent think and do tank organization, founded in 2013 by a group of academics and professionals who have passion and dedication to engage in peaceful transition in Myanmar. Since it was founded, MIPSS has developed training programs in peace, security, federalism, public policy and peace and security research, and initiated diploma program in peace and security studies. Occasionally, MIPSS provides trainings and public seminars for EA0’s,MP’s,Government officers, NGO’s, CBO’s, CSOs and political stakeholders and has built up a vast local network throughout Myanmar.
